Join Common Ground in Perthshire, Scotland for our first ever Outlander pilgrimage. Pilgrims will spend the days taking advantage of the glorious Scottish countryside, going on long hikes up to twelve miles a day, mixing summiting local hills (“beinns”) and crossing through the surrounding valleys. We also hope to sneak in a wild swim or two. This trip is perfect for people excited to get outside in the beautiful summer weather with a small, close-knit community. When we are not embarking on scenic hikes, we will discuss the novel through class time, enjoy periods of silent reflection, and explore the wonderful Ballintaggart Farms and all it has to offer.

Join Beth Silvers and Alise Napp of Pantsuit Politics on our first pilgrimage dedicated to the contemporary mystery novel series Three Pines by Louise Penny. Our participants will stay at Spa Eastman of Quebec, Canada, nestled in 300 acres of the natural world, an hour east of Montreal. We will visit Knowlton, the town that inspired the series and enjoy gentle hikes around the hotel grounds.
